Holy Cow! It got cold. It was 60+ on Christmas, and is zero degrees today.
It's a full house here at the office. I like it better this way. It's EOY, so everyone is busy with JEs, UVLs, WOs and project closings. Also got the OK to WFH rest of week, since it's supposed to snow tomorrow and Friday, just because. :) But days without meetings are looooong days.
My nails are so long, I typo every other key strike. Have to hang on til next week :(
I forgot to take out anything for supper, so it's probably going to be BLTs or Grilled Ham & Cheese sammies. Ended up not having ingredients for either of those, so we had Planks Pizza. Very yummy!
No one at Willow was brave enough to try my Poppyseed Chicken last night. Maybe they'll eat it today.
William did get the sofa moved back into place over the weekend. So now, I can begin to tackle ass the crap in the dining room. Declutter!! The cleaners came today, so the apt is nice and clean. I love that...clean kitchen, clean sheets. YASSSS.
1pm, and I'm yawning like mad. Didn't sleep well last night. Dehydrated I'm sure because I was up four times with leg/foot cramps. Ouch! Making sure to drink more today. But then I remember that it's really the electrolytes I'm losing. So I need coconut water at work. Ugh.
Have to meet with a siding salesman tonight (yuk). I want to get my stenciling done in my cruise journal and get my cruise excursions, drinks, etc paid for before they fill up.
Speaking of Cruises, our cruise is the same week as Cindi's. One of our ports is the same place/day & time! So we are going to hook up and surprise the kids!
So last night, Bryn;s BF Jaxson and I chatted on Snapchat. That got her to message me real quick. Jaxson was super polite. Bryn isn't used to that kind of politeness at all. Like most texting apps, I don't' keep up well. And SC is one where it's more of a real time conversation that an answer it whenever you have time kind of texting.
Got out of the office right at 3pm! Yay!
The Audible book I am reading "the Day the Lies Began" is nearing its conclusion. It's got me curious for sure. I like this author. will have to check out her other work.
Steve let me know that the "roofing salesman" (not siding!) will not be coming because they don't offer metal roofs, which is what Steve is set on having.
I worked on my cruise journal backgrounds and got the stenciling nearly finished. Should be done by tomorrow.
Went to bed at 8pm and zonked out quickly.
